COLOP is active worldwide from Austria
COLOP was founded in 1981 by Karl Skopek in Wels and produces the majority of its stamp products at its headquarters in Austria and at a second site in the Czech Republic. A total of 130 export markets are regularly supplied, the export rate is over 98 percent. The company employs more than 500 people worldwide, about 200 of them in Austria.
COLOP is active in three business segments:
In the traditional stamp sector, COLOP has been one of the world's leading manufacturers of modern self-inking stamps in particular for more than 40 years. For some years now, the company has also been active in the electronic-digital sector with its innovative mobile printers called e-mark® (focus: professionals) and e-mark® go (focus: private individuals). As a third pillar, COLOP has been successfully active in the creative gift sector and in the hobby segment (tattoo stamps, textile stamps, ...) since 2019.
The worldwide distribution network has been consolidated in recent years through companies and participations in 16 countries (Austria, Germany, Sweden, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, France, Bulgaria, Belgium, Poland, Spain, China, India and USA).
